Cutting in British Columbia is Alive & Thriving  - but it sure has been a roller coaster year.

We went from all shows cancelled due to Covid 19 with no clear possibility of holding any events in 2020 to:

Quesnel Cutting Horse (Robin Hay) 3 days in July

Bell Creek (Colin & Michelle Van Den Brink 3 days in August

BCCHA at Bell Creek 2 days in October

Every show was well supported, financially successful and competitors enjoyed themselves while staying safe and practicing BC Health protocols & guidelines.

And in spite of our current Pandemic uncertainty, we do have a full slate of Cuttings planned in BC for 2021.

To date we have the following events on the calendar -

Bell Creek - Chilliwack - April - Producer Show

Heritage Classic  - Chilliwack - April - Producer Show

Quesnel Cutting  - TBA - Producer Show

Bell Creek - Chilliwack - August - Producer Show

BCCHA - Club sponsored show TBA

Your Directors have many new & exciting ideas to discuss for 2021

Clinicians - Youth Development Fund Program & the NCHA Circuit Program, to name a few

Our mandate is to celebrate great horses, good people, grow and promote our sport while having fun and listening to our membership. We are open to hearing what's important to you and value your ideas and input.

We have so much to be thankful for here in B.C.& Canada. So lets' Stay positive, Stay safe and it won’t be too long before we are all gathered together again doing what we love.

Best regards

Penelope Broad
